This day I live, not
for me, but for you.
To end it all, would mean to you
nothing at all. Woe is me, I live.

Wal-Mart Stampede Ends in Death

Life

Just wow, this is America people.  Yes, you.  The one reading this.  If you were one of the 200 people entering this story and you SAW this go down, what would you have done?  Stopped and helped, ignored it, or left the store?

The real question though, is would you have even seen it?  Assuming you had line of sight on the victim, would it have even entered your mind or would you be “gottagetthebestdeal” crazy to even notice?!?

This is just the sad pathetic state this country is in now.  All we care about is spending money and getting the cheapest price.  Even over a person’s life.

I think every single person who bought something before the store was closed should be charged with assissting in a murder.  Yes, I am serious.  The only thing going through the minds of every person who went through that door was “Get the item I want.”  They had no regard for ANYTHING or ANYONE.  How many people get injured on this day every year?

Slow the frack down people, realize there is more to life than getting the best deal.  More to life than BUYING HAPPINESS.

I am so thankful I did not join the masses today, and why didn’t I?  I don’t have the money to be buying things I don’t need for the simple fact that they are on sale.  no money = no money, period.  It doesn’t matter if the item is 25% of even 50% off.  So I am spending less money that I already don’t have.  Wow, what a great deal that is.

I just can’t believe this.  You know what else would be something?  The family of the killed worker trying to sue Wal-Mart.  They have no right to do that, Wal-Mart cannot be held accountable and should not be held accountable for the stupidity of the masses.  If I hear about a story about a lawsuit being brought up against Wal-Mart I am just going to shake my head and realize that the family of this poor man, is NO BETTER than every single person who helped in killing him.  So hopefully, I don’t hear about such a story.
